Soup off 16 lbs every week!

Dr. Oz’s Rx for fast & healthy winter weight loss makes it easy for folks to lose 1 belly-inch a day.

Carolyn lost 70 lbs!

Not long ago, Philadelphia educator Carolyn Wilson was using cheesesteaks and sweets to cope with stress.
“I kept trying new diets, but nothing stuck,” recalls the 50-year-old.
Then the Dr. Oz fan was invited to test his intermittent fasting approach. “I was used to eating at all hours, so it was a challenge. But the longer I did it, the easier it got.” Especially after she started using soup. “I found I could make a big batch and have it in the fridge for quick meals,” she says. “I could also go to restaurants and enjoy soup.”
Before she knew it, she was down 70 pounds, reversed her high blood pressure and got off meds for an inflammatory disease.
“Dr. Oz was extremely impressed with my results. How cool is that?!”

What Dr. Oz Says -

Dr. Oz’s devotees are taking the hottest diet trend of 2021—a technique called time-restricted eating—to a whole new level. The secret? First, you consume all your food during the same 8-hour window each day, a strategy so good at transforming body chemistry, it’s “the best way to lose weight, prevent disease and even live longer,” according to Dr. Oz.
And here’s what’s new: To make the approach shockingly easy, pair it with lots of soup. “No other meal is better at controlling hunger and crazy cravings,” insists 70-pounds-slimmer Philadelphia mom Carolyn Wilson, 50, who has appeared on Dr. Oz’s show twice.
And since soup also floods the body with slimming nutrients, it “helps you burn fat and elevate your metabolism,” per Dr. Oz. No wonder folks are suddenly dropping 1, 2, even 3 pounds a day!

Weight Loss Plan

Dr. Oz suggests eating all meals and snacks between 11 AM and 7 PM. Meals—both soup and “fork-and-knife” options—should include 1 serving of protein, 1⁄2 cup of beans and 1 cup of greens. Add
natural seasonings, veggies and small amounts of healthy flavor boosters like olive oil, cheese and
nuts. To amp results, aim for soup at least once a day. Outside your eating window, sip water or coffee/
tea with an optional shot of hunger-killing MCT oil. Get a doctor’s okay to try any new plan.

FAT-BURN COFFEE

In vented blender, whip hot brewed coffee and 1 Tbs. MCT and/or coconut oil with optional cinnamon, nutmeg and stevia until frothy.

LUNCH

Warm leftover protein, beans, greens, extra veggies (leftover or frozen) and seasoning to taste in broth; top with a little cheese, if desired.

SNACK

Any small low-carb option, such as low sugar fruit or low-carb crackers with 1 oz. cheese or a little guacamole or nut butter.

DINNER

Slice a serving of lean steak or salmon over a large mixed salad; spritz with lemon and serve with 1⁄3 cup hummus as dressing.

Easy + upgraded cabbage soup

This twist on old-fashioned diet soup is delicious and nutritious…

INGREDIENTS -

3 cups mirepoix (mix of diced onion, carrot and celery; fresh or frozen)
1 red bell pepper, chopped
3 tsp. minced garlic
2 Tbs. olive oil
6 cups vegetable broth
1 lb. Savoy cabbage, shredded
2 (15 oz.) cans white beans
1 lb. uncured ham, diced
Seasonings such as thyme, black pepper and salt to taste

RECIPE -

In pot, sauté mirepoix, bell pepper and garlic in oil. Add broth and cabbage; simmer until cabbage is soft, 20 minutes. Stir in beans and ham; season and heat through.
Serves 6

Reasons Why this Plan Works -

One big reason time restricted eating and soup speed off excess pounds: Eating for 8 hours means not eating for 16 hours each day—a mini fast long enough that your body uses up all its blood sugar and must start burning your stored fat for fuel, Dr. Oz explains on DoctorOz.com.

There’s more:
Exciting new research from Japan’s Kyoto University has found that periods of not eating trigger the
release of 42 different body chemicals, including compounds that make energy soar, fight diabetes, rev up immunity and much more.

Basically, it’s the body’s way of quickly turbo charging health to help us survive and thrive during periods of scarcity, per lead scientist Takayuki Teruya, Ph.D. As a slimming bonus, a number of the
compounds released are known to specifically target ab flab. “Your waist will shrink like crazy,”
promises Carolyn. “I lost 14 inches from mine!”

Never feel hungry. Eat more soup, and you’ll lose weight up to 200% faster, per Penn State findings. That’s partly because soup gives the body a break from sugar and processed foods while flooding
it with easy-to-absorb nutrients.

For example, soup helps you soak up more thylakoids, compounds in spinach and kale that act as fat blockers. And you’ll get more flavonoid antioxidants from foods like onions and broccoli; that’s great news since flavonoids improve blood-sugar control, speed metabolism and activate “skinny genes.”

On top of that, soup makes it a cinch to cash in on the magic of time-restricted eating. Studies show the suspension of solid food in liquid broth “hacks” mechanisms the body uses to turn off hunger, so you stay stuffed much longer than you would eating the same ingredients in any other form.
Soup is basically Mother Nature’s appetite suppressant!

Real-world wow

After a friend suggested Lisa Wollermann, 53, try Dr. Oz’s time-restricted eating approach, she went for it.
Though it wasn’t easy at first, once she discovered soup, “there was definitely less hunger,” says the New Jersey cashier. “I even didn’t use a recipe—I just threw in whatever I had. I ate lots of soup and chili! Once I got going, fasting was really easy.”
She dropped a quick 55 pounds and feels better than she has in years. Then there’s Vickie Haynie. After trying every diet imaginable (including other soup diets) with little luck, “eating just became my hobby,” admits the Tennessee grandmother, 61.
Then she heard Dr. Oz talking about time-restricted eating. “I thought it sounded manageable and like it might benefit my health,” Vickie says. So she dove in. During her eating window, she focused on
healthy foods, including soup made with ingredients like chicken, beans, greens, peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes.
“If I was busy, I could make a big pot and eat soup and salad all week. It’s just really filling and convenient,” she notes. “On other diets, I stayed hungry all the time. For me, eliminating that hunger
allowed me to be successful. This is the most successful I’ve ever been!”
In 10 weeks, she shrunk from a size 16 to a 12 and reversed her type 2 diabetes. “I feel better and have more energy. And I loved that I could see my goals being achieved quickly, so I had momentum and never thought about giving up.” Adds Vickie: “Even if you think you’ve tried it all and there’s no hope, try this.
It really works!”
